What are the 6 rare experiences of twin flame connection?
Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance is a generic term for multiple clair senses which form the basis of extra sensory perception. These extra senses allow for telepathy between people, a preternatural awareness of objects or events unknown to yourself or to others, and knowledge of future events.
However the knowledge presents itself within your mind, it is separate from external influence such as a song you haven’t heard in decades coming to mind, specific instructions: you might be driving and you have a sudden thought to take a different route, Maybe it’s the perfume of someone deceased or the favourite food of your best friend.
Clairvoyance – receiving information through visions
Claircognisance – knowing something intuitively
Clairaudience – hearing information such as guidance or music
Clairalience – Smelling odours that are not in your physical environment
Clairgustance – tasting something that you haven’t consumed
Clairtangency –touch an object such as a photo or heirloom and receiving information
Clairsentience – receiving information through a feeling within the body
Usually people will have one or two clair senses without realising it. When it comes to twin flames, they will usually have most if not all of the clair senses operating more intensely and undoubtedly connected to their counterpart.
Quite often when twin flames are connected by extra sensory perception alone, that is they’re not together in the physical world, these clair senses are much stronger and clearer. This functions in the same way physical sensory deprivation can sharpen remaining physical senses.
Telepathy
Telepathy amongst twin flames occurs naturally and utilises all of the clair senses in varying degrees for thought transference to occur. It is also likely to be the biggest challenge twin flames face especially if they are unable to communicate with their counterpart and validate their experiences in real time.
You may smell or taste what their eating and drinking, feel what they’re feeling physically or emotionally, or you may hear what they’re listening to – or whatever earworm is lodged in their mind.
How telepathy occurs is unique to each individual. It may be based purely on exchanging sensory information without context which can be perplexing, and often how telepathy between twin flames begins: a feeling thought or sense that you know wasn’t your own. It may also be as detailed as having internal conversations going constantly: that sudden waft of pizza smell makes sense as they told you that was their dinner.
Even when twin flames have accepted telepathy as part of their daily lives it can still come challenges.
Sometimes the thought transference happens out of synch. This is a challenge faced by twin flames that have some communication to their counterpart. A conversation had at 1pm in one mind may have occurred at 4am the previous day in the other mind. The time differences can inadvertently lead to twin flames doubting their connection altogether.
There are also times when the connection comes through from their higher self, and those conversations seldom marry up to real time events.
Even so, the deep knowing that comes with twin flame telepathy usually leads to the transference of thoughts to undoubtedly validate itself in some way in time.
Dreams
Twin flame dreams are noticeably unique to other dreams such as those with simple symbology as the mind processes the previous day.
In twin flame dreams, you’ll often meet with them over many years or decades before knowing who they are in the physical world. You’ll get to know their face and appearance through these dreams first, and most likely a great deal more about them too.
When you do know the identity of your twin flame in the waking world, these dreams often intensify and you begin experiencing an energetic relationship with them – one that is deeply profound and sacred, and with a love so powerful and unconditionally deep, you just know that the connection you live through in dreams is more than a fantasy or imagined creation.
It is essential to keep a dream journal with those dreams as you’ll often work through things that make little sense in the present moment, and quite often there’s an entire narrative of experience being provided by both of your higher selves pertaining to your connection in this lifetime which again only begins to make sense when pieced together much later like different coloured threads coming together in a tapestry.
These are dreams that often can’t be figured out by looking into a dream dictionary to translate symbols as any symbology that appears in the dreamworld carries individual meaning specifically to you or your twin flame. They are an extension of telepathy, usually incredibly clear and tangible and with you becoming lucid within the dream.
Feeling Their Presence
This is quite literally feeling them even if only for a brief moment. Perhaps it’s as though you’re hands touch, or that they placed a reassuring hand on you in a moment of stress or anxiety.
Sometimes during periods of rest or meditation, you may feel their presence against you for much longer periods as though they were sitting or lying right next to you. This sensation can be especially potent either side of sleeping, and in particular if you have just woken from a dream with them.
You feel the warmth of them next to you, a firm pressure upon your body as though they are physically present with you. It’s a feeling far stronger than that of spirit and energy touching you. It’s as though for a brief moment the boundaries between your reality and theirs’s disappeared.
Visions of their reality: Seeing Through Their Eyes
This is one of the more unsettling experiences that come with the twin flame connection: being able to see what they’re seeing. This ability comes from a combination of clair senses working together in real time with your twin flame who is eternally connected to you.
One moment you’re going about your day. Maybe you’re on a leisurely walk, maybe working out, or listening to music – whatever it is that gets you in the zone – then, suddenly, you’re seeing something else entirely. You’re literally looking through their eyes and seeing their world.
This is something I haven’t come across in anyone else who’s had this experience, so I’m really not sure how advanced seeing through their eyes can get. When it has happened with myself and my twin flame, I’ve only ever seen a few seconds’ snapshot since it’s so rare even to myself that I’m shocked out of the experience almost immediately.
Seeing them in the mirror
Seeing your twin flame in the mirror is another extremely rare experience I haven’t come across anywhere else.
In one way, seeing your twin flame in a reflection or mirror is a form of catoptromancy, scrying or divination using a mirror, or overshadowing where a spiritual being can manifest its appearance over yours. These techniques usually start with your face blurring and morphing into something else like molten wax – and more often or not will leave your eyes stinging and tearing up from the effort of trying to see the difference face over yours.
The experience I had came about when I was on a metro train in Seoul and while underground, the window functioned as a mirror. As I looked at myself, I first noticed how I was seeing myself completely differently to how I normally perceive myself. Then I noticed my eyes changed to his.
The train went above ground for a bit, and with each bridge or shadow that created the reflective surface, it was like a game of peekaboo with my twin flame. When the train went underground fully again, my appearance was completely changed to theirs – though as I moved they moved. If I winked, they winked.
For several minutes, it was as though they were right in front of me on some kind face-time call situation. Then they leant forwards, booped my head with theirs somehow, and the train came back above ground and the whole experience ended.
The nearest to this experience is with someone I know who, when they were looking at themselves in the mirror, felt their twin flame was somehow looking at them too. Since twin flames are one soul living within two bodies having an individualistic, yet simultaneously shared experience of life, it makes sense that their twin flame was having a vision of their reality as supposed to looking directly at one another like through a window.
These are the rarer experiences of a twin flame connection that also suggest a connection is much deeper than soul mates. It’s difficult to know how rare these experiences are as not much is written about them – trust me, I’ve been searching for over 20 years and only know one person who has shared some similar experiences to me.
There may even be other rare experiences exclusive to twin flames. Those presented here, the clairvoyance, telepathy, dreams, and physical experiences of each other come from my own twin flame experiences that have left me questioning my mind at times.
