‘Horologically Displaced’ is a term created by LJ Bremer and means: “a person or object who is displaced by the effects of time – whether by different time zones of the world or an experience that occurs beyond the parameters of linear time.” This term forms an overarching theme of the various works included within this book: of stories based upon creation myths to those set within the modern day, and stories that exist in and out of time.

The collection of short stories contained within this compendium are of varying writing styles, poetry, and essays that have been written by LJ Bremer during her time studying both a BA and an MA in creative writing at UWTSD.
