Khalilja – 3rd Era: Redrawn from the earlier map by the Chronicler Meraelas after the world-changing events at the end of the second era and further discovery of Oraman. The impregnable nature of the Kharina Mountains was a result of Sarasan – one of the five Sykajume and earth elemental – residing close to the sacred sight of Kata Jinja to protect its secrets. After Aengal entered the site and reconnected with her past and her former soul, a battle between Sarasan and Raketselka ensued in the heavens before both vanished from sight and faded into myth.
As a result, an underground lake was exposed where a section of the mountain range had previously been which brought new life to the Suiren in the Agshun and opened up a route to the east of Khalilja and the secluded town of Tenalue.
